Withy’s Wingchair

an affect as moss

some say as rust a crosscut

truss a cornerstone

downspout apparel

an oaken barrel bramble

tamp a corncob pipe

thistle this ol’ field

a wild rose the chaff trousseau

thatch roof distaff patch

I like this one so much! Faerie elements and lovely title. Such skillful sound play: “moss/some say/rust/cross/truss”, “apparel/barrel, bramble/tamp” and “thistle/this ‘ol, distaff/chaff, thatch/patch” etc.

Alright, that’s weird…I just was writing about potato eyes on Facebook yesterday…so either you saw it or that is a first class synchronicity. I’d have responded in a more poetic vein but…potato eyes have seen too much.
